Aaron (he/him) founded Atlas Arts in 2015, under one basic principle: give artists access to professional media, without the costs of established studios. His recordings can be found on Naxos, and regularly heard on 98.7WFMT. When he’s not running Atlas or recording, Aaron works as a freelance cellist. Aaron loves to ride his bicycle, compose and create sounds, hike, and is an amateur boxer.

Peckham Media Productions
Matthew (he/him) is a multi-disciplinary artist and entrepreneur. He worked for five years as a recording engineer and Director of Operations before branching out on his own to create Peckham Media Productions: specializing in live event production.
His award-winning work as an AV designer, videographer, and audio engineer has been recognized by organizations including the Roosevelt University Presidential Awards for Social Justice (Considering Matthew Shepard, CCPA 2019), and DCASE: The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (There Always, Something Sings, Midwest and East Coast tour, 2018/19). Matthew is a member of the Audio Engineering Society (AES)
Throughout his career Matthew has provided media support for hundreds of live and pre-recorded events, including solo classical music recitals, live-streamed conferences, and full orchestra concerts. Your project could be next!

Mastering Engineer
Shelby Lock (she/her) is an audio engineer, composer, and pianist originally from Virginia. Trained in the renowned studios of Nashville, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering Technology and a Bachelor of Music in Music Composition from Belmont University. In 2012, she was recognized by the GRAMMY Foundation with her selection to study audio engineering in Los Angeles and New York at GRAMMY Camp. As an award-winning composer and classically trained pianist, she enjoys being able to use both her musical and technical expertise to help artists bring their vision to life.

Free-lance Recording Engineer
Austin (he/him) started working with the Atlas team in 2018, as a composition student at CCPA. As a composer, Austin derives style and aesthetic from many different styles of music and music culture. His music often being visceral and brash in nature, often depicts issues that humanity finds hard to come to terms with.
Having actively been part of a variety of music groups ranging from small jazz groups, large orchestras, and punk trios, there are vast experiences that Austin can draw upon to get the sound just right in any situation. When Austin isn’t making music or beautifully recording it for Atlas, he hosts the podcast Classical Reboot. Check out more of his work here:

CHRISTOPHER GONZÁLEZ
Production Assistant & Camera Operator
Christopher O. González (he/him) is a freelance trombonist in Chicago. Sought after for his versatility and musicianship, Christopher has discovered a passion for many styles and mediums of music including orchestral and jazz music in particular. Christopher’s performing career has taken him all across the country, having performed with the Evanston Symphony, Traverse City Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, New World Symphony Orchestra, The Rize Orchestra, and The World Youth Symphony Orchestra, among others on tenor, bass, and contrabass trombones, tuba, euphonium, and bass trumpet.
Christopher is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Music Performance from DePaul University. At DePaul, Christopher studies with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Bass Trombonist, Charlie Vernon, and Lyric Opera of Chicago's Associate Principal Trombonist, Mark Fisher. He also graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy in Traverse City, MI studying with Trombonist Thomas Riccobono.
A native of Miami, Florida, Christopher values home and his friends and family above all else in life. He currently resides in Wrigleyville. In his spare time, he enjoys instrument repair, composing and arranging, playing video games, dancing latin music, doing audio and visual work, and studying conducting with former music director of the Joffrey Ballet & current orchestra director of the Interlochen Arts Academy Orchestra, Dr. Leslie B. Dunner.
