SERVICES
LIVE STREAMING
Given the ever-changing trends and current climate of live events, we offer both hybrid streams (with a live audience), and fully recorded with a delayed broadcast. Contact us for a detailed scope and quote to make your event happen.
Hybrid in-person and online events are the future. You’ve invested in building an online presence, and you don’t want it to go to waste. Ask about opportunities to run a real-time multi-camera stream of your event, even while your audiences return to see you in person!
- Recent clients: Rembrandt Chamber Musicians, and
Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts.
Broadcast fully virtual events, with a mix of live feeds and pre-recorded media. Let us handle the back end while you focus on engaging with your audience!
- Recent clients: International Women’s Associates, TEDxWrigleyville, Third Coast Baroque, and more!

HOME RECORDING TIPS
If you’re getting something ready to send to us, we want to help you make sure we both have the best possible material to work with. Here are some tips for home recording:
Make sure your face is well-lit! We can make exposure adjustments during editing but if you’re in too much darkness there’s a limit to what we can do. Something as simple as pointing a desk lamp towards you can make a big difference.
If you have control over your mic levels, do a sound check with the loudest part of the piece, and then give yourself even a touch more leeway. Finding out your mic clipped after you’ve already finished the take is no fun.
Turn off your AC/heat/fan and shut your windows. Even if it doesn’t seem loud to you, microphones will definitely pick up any thermostat noise and street noise. Even if you have central air/heat, if it’s on “auto,” the fan may very well turn on in the middle of your take. Switch it completely off and commit to suffering for the few minutes it’ll take you to record. :)
Make sure the microphone is facing you! This may seem silly, but especially with Zoom recorders which have different settings for which part of the mic is active, you can easily face the microphone the wrong way without realizing it.
If an ambulance drives by, just start over. It’ll be a much more pleasant experience for everyone if you just stop when you hear a siren and start over once it’s passed.

Album Recordings
With the guidance of our Nashville-studio-trained Lead Engineer, Shelby Blalock, we proudly work on album projects in addition to live recordings. Our work on the World Premiere recording of Rossa Crean’s award-winning opera The Great God Pan can be heard on Naxos, and our recording has also been featured on WFMT and PARMA/Navona Records. Recent projects include work with the Lake Effect Clarinet Quartet (sample on the right), and releases are upcoming from Trio Menagerie, Michelle Areyzaga and Dana Brown, and Brian Ostrega and Stephen Uhl.
